Our Mission

Equipping God's family to bring the Hope of the gospel to every generation

All believers in Christ's global church are called to one Great Commission: to make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). At Hickory Grove, we believe that the way God has asked us to carry out that grand mission is to equip God's family to bring the Hope of the gospel to every generation. Participation at HGBC means finding fellowship among spiritual brothers and sisters, learning Biblical truth, and being trained to share the life-changing message of Jesus with neighbors in Kilgore, East Texas, and the world.

Our Vision & Values

The leadership of HGBC is currently developing the vision and values of our local church body. Faithful stewards have served this community at Hickory Grove for many years, and now we are prayerfully seeking the Lord's leadership for the next chapter. Vision and values will help ensure that the ministries, services, and events we engage in effectively carry out the mission God has called us to. Please pray with us that the Lord will give wisdom and obedience as He reveals our next steps.
